Aims & objectives

The main axis on which the program was developed is the cultivation of the economy through the concept of ecology and vice versa, the awareness of ecological consciousness and the creative and economic management of recyclable materials through arts and crafts, as well as modern technologies. The participants were informed about the job opportunities provided and created through the applications and good practices of the green economy. In addition, issues such as prejudice and stereotypes as well as behavior without negative consequences and non-constructive ideas are addressed.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The 48 participants (Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Spain, Turkey) gathered in creative workshops: wool, candles / wax, sculpture / art, creative writing / photography, puppets / dolls, developing basic skills in order to transform waste materials into pieces of art and culture.

Outcomes of the activity

In the same context of the activities, an information meeting was also held that included informing and educating participants about biological, bioclimatic and green practices in general, which are able to provide solutions to the major problem of unemployment. Festival held, presentation of works with the participation of young people from the local community.
