Aims & objectives

It is an 8-day training course about finding and embracing what is unique about ourselves, exploring our identities, going beyond old patterns and roles that are not working, creating freedom of own expression and acting upon it.

It is the platform for youth workers from around Europe to experience, collect and exchange new inputs, practices and tools on the topic of authenticity, vulnerability and courage.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The group consisted of 28 youthworkers coming from Austria, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Spain, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Italy.

Training methods used & main activities

- Experiential learning - learning by doing following stages: do, reflet, conceptualize, apply.
- Council - story-telling circle, safe space to share wisdom, be present for self and others.
- Outdoor - using the surroundings as space to reflect and center.
- Theatre - tools and approaches from impro theatre, theatre of the oppressed.
- Body movement - connecting through the body, physical state, emotions, energy.
- Exercises on communication - games, team tasks, theoretical input.
- Video making - digital tools to express ourselves sharing the main outcomes of the project.
- Peer-to-peer learning - sharing of ideas, experiences and best practices, workshops designed by
participants for participants.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants developped and delivered various workshop in their local environment once back fro mthe training.

I was a full time trainer of the programme together with Ivan Kobelev.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
