TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Nelli Gishyan
The training course is organised in the framework of the “Block the hatred. Share the love” campaign and is part of the action on “Promotion of diversity and equality in the Western Balkans”, in the framework of the joint European Union/Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022”, implemented by the Anti-Discrimination Department of the Council of Europe.
The international team was composed of two expert/trainers from the Council of Europe;
Vanja Rakocevic and Nelli Gishyan and the Project Manager and Project Officer from the Anti-Discrimination Department of the Council of Europe.
The training was designed to allow participants to
enhance their knowledge of human rights and non-discrimination. It was structured with a presumption that participants do not lack information, understanding and practice with the human
rights and non-discrimination framework, but would need a moment to reflect on those and share some
of the issues, they encounter in their engagement as Young European Ambassadors.
1) Participants became familiarized with the latest developments in human rights and non-
discrimination approaches;
2) Participants are able to apply some of the tools presented to them and discuss their roles in
boosting EU and CoE No Hate Speech Campaign.
Participants are able to share their views and understandings of the topics presented.
Prepare the training materials including delivering the survey to identified Young European Ambassadors (YEA) to assess their level and deliver the training program, week of 22 to 26 February 2021
