Aims & objectives

Council of Germans of Ukraine, together with the German Federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH implements international youth project "Creating the Future - Building trust: youth cooperation in the Eastern Partnership." By order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany supports the project of talented young people from Eastern Partnership countries and contributes to international understanding in the civil-societal level.

The aim of the project is:
- the initiation of intercultural dialogue by young representatives of non-governmental organizations from Eastern Partnership countries: Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan and Germany.
- Creating a platform for inter-regional exchange of views, ideas and support the best talents.
- Multiplication of developed projects by creating an interregional network of active youth.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

30 young people from 6 Eastern Partnership countries in Kyiv and 35 young people from 4 Eastern Partnership countries (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus') in Ternopil, Ukraine

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal methods, presentations (also by participants), energizers, name games, peer education, team work, project development by participants (methods of problem tree and project development robot were used).

Outcomes of the activity

As a result of the projects, 5 internatioanl group and 3 personal projects were developed and a series of articles were written and published:

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was responsible for sessions development and program, and a trainer in general and international fundraising, project development and management and international organizations management. I coached each group of the participants (each project group) and gave them 2 methodologies of project/grant application development.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
