Aims & objectives

Aims:
Increase access to knowledge and possibilities for women, fostering women’s leadership and enhance their self-esteem. Women are informed about their rights, know about gender inequality and can apply empowerment methods.

Life skills learning learning such as leadership, self-awareness and self-esteem, resilience, mindfulness and emotional well-being, communication and interpersonal skills, decision-making, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, identifying and coping with stress, time management, etc.

Trainings on Digital literacy and computer skills as well as management and business skills.

The trainings fit to the organisation's goals, as its core goal is to empower marginalised communities through equitable, inclusive and holistic programmes.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Target group: young women of Tarakeshwar, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Team: international group (Nepal, Germany, France, Italy)

Training methods used & main activities

energizers, group discussions, interactive quizes, self reflection, image centered learning, imagination exercises, etc.

Outcomes of the activity

The women were more confident and are able to (self-)lead. The results were measured by conversations with the target group.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role within the team was the conception, implementation and evaluation of the training together with the other group members.

I worked on this training for mostly 4 times per week days as a full time trainer.
