Aims & objectives

Trainng, project "We can" cod. KA105-049AF133-EN, on the management and guidance of youth workers and trainers in Europe:
1-Analysis of the problems of the third sector.
2-creation of new approaches to intercultural group management.
The training was concerned with the training of representatives of different European associations that share problems of management or implementation of activities. Management of internal human resources and development of new methodological approaches. through brainstorming and guided sharing sessions. Metaplan together with the creation of a general mind map .

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The participants involved came from Italy, France, Spain, Greece, England, Czech Republic, Estonia, many of which were members of the boards of associations or operators active in the field of active youth policies

Training methods used & main activities

La strategia di diffusione pianificata durante la formazione. I partecipanti e le organizzazioni di invio sono stati incoraggiati a sviluppare azioni e innovazioni nel loro territorio .
I partecipanti sono stati supportati a organizzare da 1 a 3 workshop con gli strumenti appresi durante la formazione. Le organizzazioni di invio hanno attivato progetti locali dedicati allo sviluppo del territorio. Organizzando tre incontri incentrati sulla pianificazione partecipativa, volti ad incoraggiare il coinvolgimento dei giovani nello sviluppo locale.

Outcomes of the activity

We have allowed a diverse group with different experiences and knowledge as well as different points of view to discuss and deepen the theme, and then propose in turn workshops, or activities dedicated to the topic for senior participants.
a first phase analysed the specific needs of the territory of each participating country, which was followed by a phase of team work, how to build new forms of response to common problems emerged in the first. in the third and last we have created together a mind map to build a network within which to develop the proposed actions within the training.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I played the role of head trainer, with a team of young foreigners and Italians with little experience in training, but with a high motivation to learning. so in addition to dealing with the group of participants all with experience behind, I followed as a tutor the inclusion and development of the 3 young people who collaborated to the success of the project, sharing with them the management of the activities and the group, starting from simple support azons to end up co-managing training activities.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
