V Seminar International Education for Peace: Intercultural dialogue for peace

Aims & objectives

Promote Intercultural dialogue & education for peace.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The seminar gathered youth workers from countries all over the world. Some of them coming from countries dealing with conflict situations like Palestine, Lebanon or Kosovo.

The team was composed by a national coordinator, local coordinator, trainers and lecturers.

Training methods used & main activities

Lectures, workshops, games, theatre of the oppressed, organisations market, institutional visits.

Outcomes of the activity

Some of the methods were used by the participants at their local realities. Network of participants. Final declaration for a global education for peace.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Trainer, facilitator and translator having collaborated at the design, implementation and evaluation of the programme; group dynamics and workshops e. g. Human rights education through body language.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
