To mainstream and introduce to our participants the topics of young people’s access to rights for an active participation, and combating discrimination by inclusion and human rights, especially through Council of Europe’s Human Rights Education and the human rights approach to advocate for the mandatory exercise of social rights by inclusion and equality of opportunities,
independently of social backgrounds.
In cooperation with the European Youth Centre, our specific objectives are:
• Raising awareness and further mainstream on the young people’s access to rights and their
connection to combat discrimination by inclusion and educative approaches of human rights;
• Introducing the concepts of Human Rights Education, rights-based approach and non-formal
educative methodologies to young people who had no previous knowledge on them;
• Exchanging knowledge, skills, good practices and opinions among the participants of the study
session, ensuring mutual understanding and learning between the young attendees;
• Provide training young people who are relatively new to the youth field and not yet particularly active
in their societies, but would like to become more active;
• Make this study session a hub of young people. Our participants will act as multipliers, disseminating
the session’s results within their respective local and regional communities by a cascading effect of
our outputs.
