To begin the strong network cooperation between already established youth houses from different countries.
To design the universal concept of youth house and to find out the solution how to establish new youth houses in partner countries.
To rediscover the meaning of the word HOME, in the meaning of youth work, especially with disadvantaged youth.
To work out the not conventional methods of work in such houses and to inspire youth workers for future work.
To create the possibility, in new network, for disadvantaged youth to move safely from one house to another one discovering in the same time new countries, and developing their self-confidence.
To connect East with West
theme – to exchange experience and knowledge - how to run a cultural youth centres and build up a network for future cooperation between East and West, as well as influence on local community
target group – 20 youth workers working in the flied of cultural youth centres from the East and West (Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Rumania, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia) and the local community of the Armenian village Tatev.
methods: simulation (all training long), discussion, outdoor activities, evaluation.
An amazing non-ending simulation (whole group in one totally empty house with no furniture, creating their own HOUSE/HOME) as experience of self organisation and group dynamic process
exchange of concrete knowledge how the youth work in the different cultural centres and countries is organised
practical cooperation of our group with locals to support the local Armenians to set up a real youth centre in Tatev in the old soviet school,
a network between youth centres from East and West for concrete future projects
