Aims of the project:
To provide work in intercultural team on the methods of integration in local community, on the methods of using creativity and arts in work with the youth from local communities.
To reflect upon the issues of creating, running and developing a community youth center and its integration in the life of the community
To explore the local realities of youth work in different European countries and to find out about the possibilities of Youth in Action Programme of EC;
To provide participants a space for development of joint actions.
Target Group:
Youth leaders and youth workers from Armenia, Poland, Germany, Georgia, UK, Romania and Moldova
International Dimension:
Participants were form different European courtiers, and a lot of themes relating the Europe/Europes, different realities of youth work and youth policy were discussed.
Methods Used:
Experienced team has designed the program of TC. We have used non-formal experiential learning methods based on mutual learning situation combining the training modules and formal presentations with a wide range of working groups, practical skills workshops, reflection groups, interactive exercises and an attractive social program. Active participation, group and team work and learning-by-doing have formed the methodological foundations of the course. A big part of the TC was planned as an in-depth integration process in the community of the village where the TC was taking part.
The group of participants mapped the Tatev village and discovered its functional-structural map.
A work was realized on designing an ideal youth community center and the possibilities/methods of its functioning
A work was organized in the community of Tatev village and some methods of inclusion of youth from local communities were tested.
