Aims & objectives

The main aim of the project was to give the opportunity to youth workers, project managers and representatives of NGO’s coming from Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia to learn and to obtain competences on social activism and active participation of young people in the society, to work together, to set up new projects’ ideas in order to promote a better coordination and co-operation in the field of youth and active participation in these countries. The NGO leaders were also equipped with the practical knowledge on project management and planning. During the activities they could train their skills in budgeting, project planning, fundraising, educational programme design and implementation, reporting, multiplying the project results and follow-ups. The participants were empowered and encouraged to create mutual projects and partnerships.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The target group consisted of 25 youth workers and NGO leaders coming from 5 countries: Germany, Armenia, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine

Training methods used & main activities

The training course was based on the principles of non-formal learning and it included the following methods: discussions, simulation games, ice-breaking games, peer learning, individual and group work, reflection and many, role games other tools and methods

Outcomes of the activity

During the activity the youth workers and NGO leaders could improve their skills and knowledge on social activism, activ participation of young people, European citizenship and also project management skills and competences. Each participant worked on the action plan after the project and mutual international projects. We expect a lot of initiatives and projects that will be implemented on the local or international level by the participants and partners of the project.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was responsible for the application, design and implementation of the programme, coordination and hosting and report.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
