The training activity took place
in Istanbul
organised by The New Generation Development
10-16th of April 2012

Aims & objectives

aimed to
1- train and support youth workers on new media technologies for informing the youth on climate changes
2- to raise the awareness the importance of the climate problems and the innovative solution's approaches to use the new technologies.
we will reach our goals by
During the course we will inform the participants on the topics as below:
- What is climate change and how we deal with climate problems? Awareness points on the theme.
- New approaches on climate change and technical details about calculation of carbon emission
- New media tools and how to use these tools

Training methods used & main activities

we used non formal education like group works , case studies ,discussions
- we divided participants for 3 groups , to produce , posters, contents for facebook page , filming for same purposes then after three days we uploaded all materials to the page

Outcomes of the activity

23 multipliers in term of using social media for increasing awarnice about climate changes
, produced some materials related to climate changes ,
developed future projects between partners

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

i leaded some daily sessions and energizers games , beside that reporting for whole activites

I worked on this training for 7 days days as a full time trainer.
