Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Me (Inês) and Lério Cunha (Mozambican) were the trainers. We trained 26 facilitators so they would be able to deliver the training event to Portuguese and other international students all around the world. Among these 26 participants there were different nationalities such as Polish, Cape Verdian, Portuguese and Ucranian.

Training methods used & main activities

For the team building activities we used severeal NFE methods such as brain storming sessions, discussions, simulations, time management boards, etc. All of the activities had a debriefing part based on the Kolb Cycle of the experiential learning.

Outcomes of the activity

By the end of the training, facilitators felt more confident conducting the workshops they had to deliver for the students of their university. This outcome is based on the high level of satisfaction observed on the surveys we did at the end of the training.
