The main objective is creation of inclusive and participatory project that is aiming in strengthening the capacities of the organizations participating, with an emphasis on Asian, African and South American partners.
The project seeks to foster and encourage advocacy for gender equality by the use of social media and by training youth workers on how they can use social mediums and communication channels. Our project shall address gender as an equality issue.
The main aim of the project is to train youth workers, youth leaders and young people to understand the main documents and main bodies in EU and UN that are focused on working with gender equality. Development of a clear guidelines on documents and institutions that will help the organizations working in the field.
At same time the project seeks to produce a handbook that shall serve as tool for any youth worker of any field to take into consideration becoming social media activist or becoming a trainer in this area.
OBJECTIVES:
- Train youth workers/leaders on understanding the realities in different countries and continents
- Train youth workers/leaders and young people on what are the main institutions in the framework of EU and UN in charge of addressing the gender equality. What are the main crucial documents and creation of a GUIDE.
- Support and improve skills of youth workers by giving them practical and professional skills in various type of social media approaches (written, audio, visual, photo etc).
- Developing the skills on social media as a tool for their work; Creation of a user’s guidelines on social media for youth workers;
- Development of know-how on creation of OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES webinar/videos/podcast
- Peer training by expert on development of OER
- Foster world network and cooperation in area of women rights and gender equality
- Promote the Erasmus + as a strong tool for promoting gender issues and promoting EU as a stronghold of rights in the world

The Spanish partners are very experienced in gender equality field. They are having behind many successful closures of projects in the topics, and have a wide communication web with local authorities and NGOs, as well as government and institutions in the field. The president is a professional social worker with more than 30 years of experience and has conducted a project under K3 with a focus of gender violence. Adefis Juventud International, is women lead organization that is working in empowerment of migrant woman in Madrid. They are offering support for migrant woman in finding jobs, education, and integration in Spanish society.
'MUDHA' is working with the problem of migrants from Haiti and descendants of Haiti migrants. MUDHA is doing tremendous work on stateless people and children i Dominican Republic. They are having a house where they are organizing support groups in Santo Domingo. MUDHA is working a lot in area of education, combating violence, legal support for woman, support for LGBT woman etc.
Act Global Indonesia, is working in supporting women in development of their soft skills through volunteering and training. They are organizing woman group readings; classes; language cafes etc. One of the main target group for them are internal migrant woman from other islands in Indonesia, who are living in Denpasar. The work of Act Global is to support international cooperation and participation of woman.
Thailand organization is supporting activities connected with education and support of woman living in rural areas of Thailand. Their work is consisted mostly of work in area of education of women and fighting gender inequality. They are working a lot with The Office of Women’s Affairs and Family Development, of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security in Thailand.
Cabo Verde partners - SIDS YOUTH AIMS HUB CABO VERDE is working with youth in supporting equal opportunities and democratic participation of women in politics according to United Nations SIDS advisory process.
Bulgarian partner is one of the strongest organizations in Bulgaria that are working with ICT and Social Medias. They are having online TV and Radio and are very active in social Medias. They web page, social media channels are supporting young around Bulgaria. Facebook page is counting more then 10 000 followers. They are organization that is holding the quality label mark.
Italian partners are working in rural areas of Italy in development of possibilities for single mothers. They work in development and support of woman in legal areas, employment, entrepreneurship etc.
Lithuanian organization is working in supporting individual handcraft and potential of women in development of their own business. They are supporting young woman in starting art cafes, handcraff online selling markets and etc.
The partnership between European Partners from Italy, Lithuania and Bulgaria is lasting for already 5 years and they are cooperating in different activities and project.
Each of the partners are having skills that can be complementary to the project. The blend of the partnership is very good and its leading to overall development of the project aims and objectives.

Training methods used & main activities

This project is socio-educational, focused on increasing the capacities of organizations working in the area of gender equality and awareness of gender equality. Its main objectives are the capacity building of NGOs in area of usage of social media and open educational resources.
For reaching the foreseen project goals we have proposed methodology for execution of all planned activities. The activities planned are planned to include non-formal leading methodology, learning by doing, job shadowing’s, creation of workshop, training of trainers, study visit and coordination meeting. The project will build strong relationship between organizations in Europe, South America, Africa and Asia and its having potential to become worldwide viral due to the developed free educational resources.

Working methodology: work in small groups, presentation by experts; methodology in work with social medias; non formal learning; presentations; workshops; visit to best practice organization;

- Create an effective practice that can be used by all the partner promoters and the wider networks and organizations in the world
- Creation of materials that can be used free on different languages around the world

Promote partnerships and communication strategies to give more visibility of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus + Program. Provide the necessary tools to promote good practices and exchange experience, creating a balanced network of cooperation among local and international activities promoting non-formal education.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was the leader of the training team in Sofia, Bulgaria.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
