Training for NGOs on EuroMed Youth Program IV

The training activity took place
in Birzeit, Ramallah, Palestine
organised by INJEP, RCBS, EMYU Palestine

Aims & objectives

To understand the background of Euromed Youth Programme IV
To integrate the objectives, priority issues and educational dimensions of the Euromed Youth Programme IV
To understand in details the different actions of the Programme and the life cycle of a project.
To work on concrete ideas to be transformed into projects to be applied.

Creating new international youth projects in EuroMed region

Writing applications, following up, etc

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

NGOs coordinators, youth workers/leaders from different Palestinian organizations and other international organizations working in Palestine in the Youth Field
it was attended by 37 participants from: Palestine, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Norway

Training methods used & main activities

non-formal education, active learning, info sessions, workshops, working groups, educational games, etc

Outcomes of the activity

37 youth workers trained on EMY IV, creating new international projects, familiar with the national and regional priorities
4 to 6 EMY project were submitted to the last deadline

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

-providing training sessions on how NGOs are able to network and work on EMY based on their capacities and interests.
-training on exercises, and educational tools for youth participation and involving young people in the content and building projects
- providing practical information on the EMY IV programs, its Actions, possibilities, and different related details.
- working with the team on the workshops, educational games, etc
- inspiring and motivating the participants
- following up on created projects to be submitted

I worked on this training for one week days as a full time trainer.
