Training for Camp Coordinators

Aims & objectives

The aim of the training was to learn and show in practice how to prepare, organize, lead and evaluate an international workcamp.

During the training the participants took part in a lot of workshops and training sessions on different topics - more about voluntary service and workcamps, responsibilities of the involved partners, team building and conflict resolution, intercultural learning, finances, documentation and evaluation of the workcamp.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

An international group of 17 participants coming from Balkan countries and Bulgaria.

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal educational tools were used including games, icebreakers, working groups, presentations, simulations, reflection, role games, etc.

Outcomes of the activity

The participants left the training being motivated, informed and prepared for being campcoordinators

Designing, delivery and reporting of the training.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
