To understand how European Solidarity Corps functions & be able to adapt it in practice;
▫ To conceptualise with the project partners, approach to volunteering in their work context;
▫ To foster organisational & individual competences in planning, implementing, mentoring & evaluating local & international volunteering projects;
▫ To develop organisational strategies for inclusion of young people in volunteering projects, specifically those with fewer opportunities, marginalized youth & IDP’s / refugees;
▫ To develop organisational check lists & procedures for the most essential steps in volunteering Projects;
Countries: Netherlands, Lithuania, Georgia, Germany, Slovenia, Ukraine, Moldova.
Target group:
- Youth-workers who wants to share experience or gain knowledge about modern tools for working with volunteering;
- Young leaders who want to learn more about volunteering;
- Volunteers & young people - with aim to develop new skills concretely in the sphere of Volunteering.
Methods used while delivering the programme:
Experiential learning through non formal and outdoor education
Cognitive Behavioural Coaching approach
Group dynamic processes, simulations and teamwork activities
Inputs from experts through non-formal education lectures and facilitated processes
Dynamic workshops and presentations
Kolb’s cycle (learning cycle)
Intercultural sharings, learnings and reflections
Learning by doing in a group setting or individual processes.
The outcome was different projects created and initiated by participants of this training course.
My main responsibilities in this project were:
- trainer of the main activity "Training Course" in Georgia, 2020 February. Programme preparation and adaptation for the participant needs.
- preparation of the project proposal and final documentation.
- preparation of final report.
