Aims & objectives

This TC had two main aims:
1. raise the competences of the youth workers;
2. enhance the cooperation of our internal partnership network.

The objectives were to learn more about:
1.outdoor education
2.education through sports
3.live action role-playing (LARP) and geocaching during the hiking (day & night ).
4.using GPS and open-badges
5.active lifestyle

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Youth workers, volunteers or young people interested in the topic: those who wanted to gain and share knowledge about outdoor education as a non-formal education tool. Citizens or residents from one of
the partnering countries: Lithuania, Georgia, Greece, Serbia, Belarus, Armenia, United Kingdom.

Training methods used & main activities

Methods used while delivering the programme:
Experiential learning through non formal and outdoor education
Cognitive Behavioural Coaching approach
Group dynamic processes, simulations and teamwork activities
Inputs from experts through non-formal education lectures and facilitated processes
Dynamic workshops and presentations
Kolb’s cycle (learning cycle)
Intercultural sharings, learnings and reflections
Learning by doing in a group setting or individual processes.

Outcomes of the activity

The outcomes of the activity was to:

- Improve 8 key competences (according to youth pass
methodology);
-understand the cycle of learning process;
-what LARP is and how to use it in practice;
- rise their competences, understanding and motivation putting emphasis on outdoor education;
- be able to use independently outdoor education methods together with LARP and simulations;
- develop their capacities as project manager/leaders and gain skills to implement future actions with Erasmus+;
- enhance their international network of young leaders, and will be connected with them for future actions with Erasmus+;
- gain capacity to evaluate own actions and actions of other people ingenuously;
- develop their communication skills and will able to better express themselves verbally.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I had few responsibilities in this project:
- trainer of the main activity "Training Course" in Lithuania, 2019 August. Programme preparation and adaptation for the participant needs.
- preparation of the project proposal and final documentation.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
