TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

- Integrate new masters’ students in the ISCTE Business School academic culture;
- Create interactive moments for participants to meet their new colleagues;
- Develop of cooperative and cohesive classes by fostering teamwork;
- Provide an opportunity to develop fundamental soft skills to improve the adaptation and performance of students in the new academic environment (teamwork, cooperation, time management or conflict management).
I (Mozambican) and Ines (Portugal) were the trainers. We trained 26 facilitators so they would be able to conduct the Team Building event to Portuguese and Erasmus Students. Among these 26 facilitators there were different nationalities, such as Cape-Verdian, Portuguese, Polish and Mozambican.
We did team building activities such as getting to know games, brain storming sessions, time management activities, etc. All of the activities had a debriefing part based on Kolb Cycle of the experiential learning.
The level of satisfaction based on the surveys we did at the end of the training.
Faciltiators felt more confident conducting the workshops after our trainer.
Co-Design and prepare the training for trainers activities/workshops/dynamics. And co-deliver the training itself.
