Aims & objectives

When it comes to the objectives we have set up the following ones we plan to achieve:
- Raising up the personal organization management in idea development process;
- Increasing participation of young people by applying the principles of adult learning and demonstrating a range of skills and techniques;
- Developing approaches that accommodate different learning styles of participants creating safe space were they can share their own experiences;
- Combating poverty by enhancing communication skills , through usage of mind and idea mapping tools in purpose of increasing chances for getting jobs and enriching their CVs;
- Developing creativity and entrepreneurship while working in a multicultural environment and in purpose of international partnerships;
-Devising strategies for equipping participants with new skills and knowledge with aim of mutual understanding, decreasing of xenophobia and increasing a level of intercultural learning;
-Selecting appropriate activities and resources for young people in topics related to future projects implementation;
- Involvement of youngsters with fewer opportunities and avoiding the marginalization of vulnerable groups;
-Contributing to the development of a professional profile of young people in purpose of their easier job searching process;
-Sharing information about recognition of competence they will gain and obtain them with Youth Pass;
-Learning how to reflect on our learning outcomes, becoming able to evaluate and orient our learning in a useful way.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The Training Course took place in the town of Brzece in Serbia (Kopaonik mountain), from 20th to 28th of September 2012 and it will involve 30 participants coming from 15 different countries (Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Croatia, Romania, Malta, Albania, Slovenia, Kosovo, Serbia, Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia). It involved young people 20 to 30 years old that are on beginning of their carrier and that needed a guide in mapping and implementing their idea as a start in their carrier building process.

Training methods used & main activities

Project implementation certainly involved methods of non-formal education, which include creating a friendly and confident environment in purpose of stimulating learning processes of the participants. Activities include: working in small groups, power point presentations, simulation activities, role plays, presentations, public speech, project management and creative expression.

Outcomes of the activity

As an outcome of the activities we got 7 new planned and well prepared projects on topic of employment of young people, environment protection, rural development, promotion of volunteerism and intercultural learning. One of the projects was even applied for October dead line just 2 days after project was finished.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was one of 2 trainers involved into the activities implementation and i was responsable to implement sessions about:
- Team building
- Idea mapping process
- Intercultural learning
- Project management
- Presentation of Youth in Action program
- Presentation of youth pass
- Mid term and final evaluation
- Leading of daily reflection groups
Besides trainers activities I was also involved in contact with partners, gathering participants applications and organizing few logistical stuffs like excursion, arrival and departure of participants, evaluation methods and communication with locals in purpose of better local impact and visibility.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
