There and back again - Winter LTC 2015

Aims & objectives

The main aim was to integrate new members of AEGEE Heraklio in the work of the organization locally as well as on a European level.

In particular, this Local Training Course aimed at training the participants in the following areas:
- The Structure and History of AEGEE
- The Strategic Plan and Action Agenda of AEGEE
- PR and Recruiting strategies for our organization
- Event planning and organizing
- Quality Assurance in your events
- Introduction to LGBT rights

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

11 participants (AEGEE members) from 2 different nationalities (EL, NL), active members of their local AEGEE groups.

Training methods used & main activities

The participants learned through games and participatory, interactive activities, following the NFE methodology, provided by a team of 3 trainers from different nationalities (EL, NL), following the "HR strategy for Learning and Training" in alliance with the "HR_Cycle_Toolkit" of AEGEE.

Outcomes of the activity

The training was successful, the participants gained a lot of useful knowledge on the topics addressed and were satisfied with the training, as well as becoming good friends with each other.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was a full-time trainer in Winter LTC 2015, responsible for the following topics:
- The Structure and History of AEGEE
- The Strategic Plan and Action Agenda of AEGEE
- Quality Assurance in your events.
I was also the training manager and main coordinator of the event.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
