Aims & objectives

"Theater of the oppressed as an anti-discrimination tool (TOAT) is a training course that explores discrimination through Theatre of the Oppressed, Forum theatre and Legislative theatre and plan achievable local and international projects that support the participation of young people!
It aims to explore the challenges and obstacles for marginalised young people through theatre of the Oppressed methodology and to plan concrete actions to help overcome these obstacles.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The target group of this course is active members of organizations and it includes youth workers, youth trainers, youth leaders, board members, peer educators and artists. The countries involved are Poland, Ireland, Lithuania, Romania, Armenia, Belarus, Russia. The number of participants and people involved is 30.

Training methods used & main activities

The implemented activities are non-formal learning through workshops/group work using drama methodologies, games, team building, intercultural activities, planning and networking.
