Aims & objectives

Partnership Building Activity „Ten Steps From Idea To Application!“ brought together 25 participants (13 from Estonia and 12 from Latvia, Lithuania, UK, France, Romania and Greece) - youth leaders/workers and young people aged 15-18 from rural areas and small towns to develop new partnerships for youth exchanges in the framework of Youth in Action programme. Activity took place in South-Estonia from 11th to 19th May 2013 and was organized by youth organization Seiklejate Vennaskond.
Project had following objectives:
- Contact making and developing partnerships for new Youth in Action projects
- Raising participants’ knowledge of Youth in Action programme with the focus on youth exchanges and quality of youth exchanges
- Develop new Youth in Action projects from idea to application
- Creating opportunity to build the project from beginning to the end together with partners
- Develop participants’ competences about priorities and quality criteria of Youth in Action programme, including the use of Youthpass as tool, process and certificate
- Promote Youth in Action opportunities for young people from small towns and rural areas in participating countries
All methods used during the project were non-formal, such as group works, work in pairs, role-plays, individual tasks, learning reflection etc.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Parntership building activity brought together 25 participants (13 from Estonia and 12 from Latvia, Lithuania, UK, France, Romania and Greece) - youth leaders/workers and young people aged 15-18 from rural areas and small towns. Training team was Estonian.

Training methods used & main activities

All methods used during the project were non-formal, such as group works, work in pairs, role-plays, individual tasks, learning reflection etc.

Outcomes of the activity

Project achieved following objectives:

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was responsible for the design of the training course, for preparation, implementation, evaluation and follow-up. I worked as full time trainer.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
