Aims & objectives

The training addressed the issue of Global Health and aimed at educating youngsters and multipliers on how to promote the issue through the use of performance art (street theatre) and media.

23 participants from 4 EU countries (DE/ RO/ ES/ GR)

Training methods used & main activities

Non formal education methods in two directions: theatre improvisation exercises and media training input

Outcomes of the activity

The theatre group produced a Street Theatre production raising awareness on the big pharma companies practices in Africa. The Street Theatre was held openly 6 times in public places around Germany in the workshop period.

The media group produced 3 videos: one was documenting the work and show of the Theatre group. Second produced a documentary about big pharma companies practices in Uganda. The third group produced a video report on the StreetMed project (street clinic) in Bielefeld. .
