Teaching young Entrpreneurship – do you know how?

Aims & objectives

Main aim:
To prepare youth workers/teachers to work with this methodology and to help them to develop entrepreneurship related competences in the young people they are working with.

Objectives:
1. To increase the quality of youth sector as an important actor of fomenting and teaching youth initiative and entrepreneurship.
2. To provide youth workers and teachers with a new entrepreneurship education methodology, created by the "Young Entrepreneurs - If not you then who" team within the KA2 Strategic Partnership project.
3. To increase the facilitation skills of youth workers/teachers.
4. To provide a complementary, non-formal methodology, that can also be used in formal education.

Turkey, Italy, Egypt, Ukraine, Portugal, Poland, Greece, Cyprus, Spain

Training methods used & main activities

participatory, interactive and experiential The participants had the chance to participate in sessions of entrepreneurial education and implement them by themselves, gather feedback from other participants, reflect on their facilitation skills and improve them

Outcomes of the activity

- The participants managed to facilitate one session at least
- TC Materials were disseminated among the participants for future usage.
- Partnerships were already established between the ngos' delegates

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

- Facilitator of risk taking workshop encouraging participants to step into it and reflecting afterwords its pros and cons
- Conducting the "creativity, innovation and problem solving" workshop letting participants think out of the bos by different idea generating processes
- Delievering on the run NFE methodlogies from energizers, team building and group activities
