TC YOUTH PREVENTION (3 editions)

Aims & objectives

The TC is aimed at provide tools, competences and experience to youth workers in order to develop their work, support them and prevent challenges of risk behavior among young people.
• Improve and renew the tools for trainers, educators, monitors in youth prevention
• Provide information on bullying workers, families, young people and society in general
• Sensitize and educate young people, teachers, coaches, trainers about the need of prevention.
• Exchange realities regarding the topics of the project in the participating countries.
• Sharing experiences and best practices with other trainers, educators, monitors.
• Become familiar with different tools and methods of non-formal education for prevention and work with youth.
• Different activities for personal development and skills of the participants.
• Presentation and cooperation in the new Erasmus + program
• Encourage the establishment of anti-bullying and anti-violence policies.
• To learn ways to promote and motivate young people to do outdoor activities.

Target group of the TC is: youth trainers/workers who are actively working with young people as professionals or on voluntary basic, teachers.
1st editions: Spain, Slovenia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece
2nd editions: Czech Republic, Estonia, Bulgaria, Spain, France, Greece, Hungary, Romania
3rd editions: Slovakia, Malta, Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Spain, Lithuania, Macedonia, Romania, Greece, Estonia
Team: 2 trainers (Spain, Czech Republic), 1 organizer (hosting country)

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal education methods: getting to know each other activities, energizers, teambuilding, communication exercise, conflict resolution simulation, theatre oppressed, role play, discussions, work in small groups, sharing and exchange of realities and practice, sharing the tools, inputs of experts and presentation of practice from local reality of hosting country, 6 thinking hats, learning assessment, evaluation

Outcomes of the activity

Collection of tools, Memorandum, collection of educational materials and resources, presentation of youth prevention realities of the participants countries, weblog of the TC, summary of skills - knowledge - attitudes of youth workers active in youth prevention field, video and photo documentation of the TC
