• Explore participants understanding of Creativity, Empowerment and Learning and to understand how it relates to the Youth Strategy “Investing and empowering young people”.
• Share and develop methods and tools in order to enhance the creativity of young people using theatre and creativity as tools for non-formal and informal learning
• Practice empowerment of young people in order to make them aware of their own values and competences.
• Support young people exploring their own personalities and strengths and to help to implement a creative learning plan
• Share realities, tips and hints how youth workers can share good practice and develop a new model for this work
• Plan local and international youth projects on empowerment, creativity and entrepreneurship for, by and with young people according to the proposals of Erasmus + programme.
In the project attended 30 participants from 8 countries. All of them comming from EU countries. The target group was youth workers who are active and using theater as a tool for empowering youth.
Methods included: Theatre techniques, self – assessment, small group work, theatre, visual mapping, natural art, evaluation techniques and self-reflection. At the end we conduct forum theater plays were participants had opportunity to practice what they have learned during the project activity.
As result of participation, workers got skills and knowledge to:
• Enhance the creativity of young people using theatre and creativity as tools for non-formal and informal learning
• Understand the role of empowerment and to be able to support young people exploring their own personalities and strengths and to help to implement creative learning plans.
• Develop and implement Forum Theater as a tool for empowering in their community.
• Plan local and international youth projects using empowerment, creativity and entrepreneurship for, by and with young people.
• The legacy of this innovative intervention will be the implementation of models of good practice within participating organizations and the potential sharing of good practice within local, regional and international youth settings.
• The project will promote a common framework for aspirational creative empowerment techniques.
I was a member of the training team, and I worked with my colleague to design the whole programme. As a full time trainer I also delivered the training course and all planned activities before and after the TC.
