Aims & objectives

Aim
To develop youth workers' and leaders' competences in sustainable and holistic work with volunteers, thus improving volunteering at local and national levels in the countries involved.
Objectives are:
- To improve skills and knowledge on step-by-step development and implementing of the volunteering programmes;
- To share knowledge and experience on volunteering in different countries;
- To empower participants to act as effective volunteer managers;
- To get acquainted with YiA and to develop ideas for future projects

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Target group:
-Youth workers / leaders working in local / national NGOs, coming from Cyprus, Italy, Latvia, Slovenia, Croatia, Turkey.

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal learning, including active participation and exchange of experiences, as well as self-reflection and working plans and project development for follow up activities in the participants' countries.

Outcomes of the activity

8 project ideas for international and local level developed by the participants.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Designing the training concept, running the training programme, reporting, supporting and mentoring for the participants in between and after the training events.
