Aims & objectives

- Exchange with international youth workers, activists and volunteers about pressing topics in Europe that urgently need more attention, e.g. forced migration and refugees or social exclusion
- Exploring Social Entrepreneurship as a tool for social change and just society
- Learn from each other how to improve the processes of planning, preparing and implementing projects to tackle these topics
- Develop ideas into concrete project concepts while learning from existing local and international projects, best practices and from the field of NGOs and Social Entrepreneurs
- Build a support network to find synergies among project teams and to build on knowledge existing in networks and organisations
- Use project management tools to develop, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate projects’ impacts.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The project brought together 24 youthworkers and youth leaders from Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania.

The project was a joint effort of CVS Bulgaria and SCI Germany, and the trainers were from Bulgaria (Katerina Stoyanova) and Ukraine (Oleksandra Bakun)

Training methods used & main activities

The TC was based on NFE methods.
Teambuilding, creative presentations, video examples, plenary discussion, small groups discussion, World Café, creative storytelling, silent discussions etc.

Outcomes of the activity

5 projects were created as a result of the training course. the topics includede an anti-bullying and anti-violence campaign for men and sexual assault prevention among the refugee women.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I have been involved in the preparation and implementation of the activity, as a part of the prep team and trainers team. I was in charge of the creation and delivering of the training program and reporting.

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
