TALE: Training for Active Learners in Europe

Aims & objectives

TALE was a long-term training for trainers active in European youth work. The course consisted of 3 seminars and a strong e-learning component.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

30 trainees from 15 different countries from all Europe.
Team of trainers consisted of 6 members from 5 different countries.

Training methods used & main activities

Methodology based on constructivist and experiential learning theory to support participants to develop their independent path of learning and development throughout the course.

Outcomes of the activity

Most participants created an impressive learning portfolio as part of the documentation of their learning.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Member of the educational team responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of the course including seminars, distance learning and mentoring.

I worked on this training for 40 days days as a full time trainer.
