Summer Academy on Intercultural Experience

in Karlsruhe, Germany

Aims & objectives

The training approached relevant topics in the field of intercultural communication, management, and training and was intended to foster the intercultural perspective within the field of management theory as well as to develop applied solutions for the problems in business and society.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

participants came from all over the world including Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe.
Target group was young people (specifically students) who are interested in intercultural topics.
Trainers came from mostly Europe and South America.

Training methods used & main activities

Duirng the training, a variety of non-formal educational methods were used.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants left with enthusiasm to follow-up their learning at the Intercultural Academy.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was one of the 6 trainers, who were working in co-trainers divided into 3 tracks.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
