Aims & objectives

The training aim was to improve the knowledge of 25 NGO staff members within EU organisations, in the field of strategic management in order to contribute to their organisations development.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The target group consisted in NGOs staff members within management departments

Training methods used & main activities

Debates, interactive lectures and workshops;
Field research and real-life simulations;
Team-building and management games;
Self assessment and pair assessment;
Creative sessions

Outcomes of the activity

At the end of the training each participant was able to carry an assessment of his own organisation and prepare a basic strategic management plan.

Evaluate the participants needs and adjust the training plan accordingly along with choosing the appropriate training methods.
