Aims & objectives

The project is an 8 days Training Course on the topic of communication and media and violence against women and human trafficking and took place in Petrosani, Romania.
A European level awareness raising campaign represents the final objective of the present project.
The project involved members and non-members of FLARE international network in which ACSCVJ is a member.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Stop the violence! was a project implemented under Youth in Action programme, Action 3.1.b. Youth in the world. The project partners are representing 15 organisations and 30 participants, coming from 13 countries (Armenia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italia, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Spain, Serbia, Turkey, and Ukraine). A delegation of 5 persons representing the UN Office in Belarus also participated in the project raising the total number of participants to 35.

Outcomes of the activity

The participants designed and create two different types of posters for targeting human trafficking. One poster was developed for resources and transit countries of human trafficking and one for destination countries.
The participants have organized an anti-trafficking information campaign in Petrosani, Romania and have organized different local activities after their return in their local communities.

Formulate the learning objective in collaboration with a part of the partners;
Design and prepare the non-formal education activities;
Facilitate the training course

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
