Aims & objectives

It was focused to healthy lifestyle and new forms of holistic practices and behaviour; As well the training - within Erasmus + Key Action 1, Youth mobility , aimed to present the benefit of the outdoor education for the non formal learning and practices.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

It was focused to participants working in youth field , but there were a mixed group of volunteers, newcomers, and youth workers. The participants came from 10 EU countries- Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Spain.

Training methods used & main activities

Among the methods which we used were educational visits to the Sea Scouts departments in Thessaloniki, presentations, debates, task oriented activity and all was released through the non formal methods of learning.

Outcomes of the activity

Among the achieved outcomes from trainers point of view was to give credibility of the importance of outdoor activity in youth work for overcoming the rather spread phenomena of burn out, stress, depression. As well among the achieved objectives was to implement the methods of holistic approaches like Reiki in group work.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was a full time trainer among two other trainers and was not only having role in the programme activities but stimulate the group building process.

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
