Aims & objectives

Mission: The project aims towards gathering youths who want to get over their fear of speaking in public and to increase the job perspectives and quality of their relationships. Therefore, they will push their limits, they will learn how to communicate their ideas fluently and efficiently, and especially how to create a connection with others.

The main purpose is to create an international non-formal context between 10-20 August in Bagaciu, Romania in which young people from Romania, Lithuania, Hungary, Greece and Netherlands, share opinions, thoughts, and experiences, get to know each other, and will have the opportunity to develop their public speaking and communication competences through non-formal activities.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants age group: 18-25 years old

Romania: 8 participants, 2 group leaders, 1 facilitator
Hungary: 8 participants, 2 group leaders, 1 facilitator
Lithuania: 8 participants, 2 group leaders
Greece: 8 participants, 2 group leaders
Netherlands: 8 participants, 2 group leaders

Training methods used & main activities

games, team building activities, tedtalks, speed dating, brainstorming, group activities, world cafe, reflection activities, feedback activities.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Responsible for facilitating public speaking and communication related sessions mainly.
Responsible for taking care of participants' progress and development of the key competences on the YouthPass.

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
