Aims & objectives

The "Snap In Youth Empowerment" training course aimed to enhance the competencies and practices of young people in the fields of social entrepreneurship, community development, and youth leadership. The project sought to empower participants by equipping them with essential skills in youth work, project management, and social entrepreneurship. The ultimate goal was to encourage participants to become proactive community leaders, capable of initiating and leading impactful projects within their communities.

The training addressed essential needs by equipping participants with advanced skills in social entrepreneurship and project management, enhancing their leadership qualities, and developing actionable solutions for community challenges.

The training aligned with the organizations’ goals by promoting social entrepreneurship, enhancing youth skills, and driving community impact through practical project implementation. This approach supported their mission to foster innovation, strengthen youth networks, and create positive changes at the grassroots level.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The "Snap In Youth Empowerment" training course targeted youth workers, leaders, and active volunteers aged 18-30 from diverse international backgrounds. The participating countries were Italy, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Portugal, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Training methods used & main activities

In the "Snap In Youth Empowerment" training course, we used a range of non-formal learning methods, including:

1) Workshops and brainstorming sessions
Interactive activities to develop and refine community project ideas.
2) Role-playing and simulations
Exercises to practice problem-solving and decision-making in social entrepreneurship.
3) Peer-to-peer learning
Structured group discussions and feedback sessions to share best practices and experiences.
4) World café
Rotating discussions on various topics to generate ideas and foster collaborative thinking.
5) Action learning projects
Hands-on projects where participants created and tested community initiatives.
6) Reflective practices
Individual and group reflection sessions to consolidate learning and personal growth.

Outcomes of the activity

The "Snap In Youth Empowerment" training course achieved several key outcomes:

Participants enhanced their competencies in social entrepreneurship, project management, and community leadership.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

As a full-time trainer for the "Snap In Youth Empowerment" course, I designed and developed the curriculum, facilitated workshops and sessions, and mentored participants in creating their community projects. I coordinated with other trainers to ensure a cohesive training experience and evaluated the impact of the program through participant progress assessments.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
