SHELTER: Sharing and Learning Together

Aims & objectives

The main objectives of the project were:
- to introduce the concept of intercultural learning and develop shared understanding,
- to promote cultural diversity,
- to explore the theme of anti-discrimination,
- to foster cooperation in the youth field,
- to strengthen cross-cultural awareness of young people from Armenia, Greece and Turkey and break their stereotypes and prejudices about each other through direct communication and exploring the concept of Intercultural Learning.

Methods of Non-Formal Education were used.

Outcomes of the activity

Armenian, Greek and Turkish participants had a chance to live, act, learn, share and explore together as one big family. Participants were
engaged in a variety of activities such as workshops, seminars, artistic activities, trainings, intercultural evenings, city games, sightseeing, cultural visits etc.
