Aims & objectives

Some facts adressed by the project:
1. Environmental quality is essential for our health, our economy and our well-being. However, it faces several serious challenges, including climate change, unsustainable consumption and production, as well as various forms of pollution.
2. As suggested by the European Commission in its "Long-term strategic vision for a prosperous, modern, competitive and climate-neutral economy by 2050", it is important to invest in realistic technology solutions, empower citizens and align actions in key areas such as industrial policy, finance or research, while guaranteeing social equity for a just transition.
3. Global climate change and its impacts on people and resources pose serious social challenges. The actions we take today will influence the path of the future. They will also affect our ability to respond and adapt to changes and reduce the vulnerability of people and places to possible harm.

So, Educating future generations about the causes and effects of global climate change is imperative because the implementation of solutions depends on an informed public. Is was necessary to carry out an efficient intervention in micro realities to build a bridge to a broad-spectrum process aimed at macro realities with the objectives to:
- Test the methodologies / tools created during the TC with young people.
- Educate young people on environmental and climate change issues.
- Encourage participants to become green ambassadors among their peers and their communities.
