All EVS meetings and training courses involve the participation of international volunteers. The team of trainers usually consists of 2 or 3 trainers coming from different countries (SEE and EU).
The methodology is based on non-formal education and learning concepts and principles. The use of NFE methods every time depends on the needs of the particular groups, but generally they include: presentations; discussions; working groups; debates; role playing; reflection techniques; self assessment techniques; experiential learning; energizers; peer education techniques; forum theatre; world cafe; open space technology; etc.
The trainings so far are achieving their objectives as stated above resulting in better EVS projects, more visible impact on the local community and the personal development of the volunteers.
