Salto Cultural Diversity - Migration Training Course

The training activity took place
in Eisenborn (Luxemburg)
organised by SALTO Cultural Diversity Resource Center in cooperation with the Youth
9-15 January 2006

Aims & objectives

This course brought together people who were interested in the theme of migration in order to make YOUTH programme projects together. There was a part of the programme which concentrated on the theme of migration, including such aspects as identity, culture, discrimination, prejudice and racism. A second part of the programme used the resources of the training centre and showed the practical uses of video technique as a tool. The new skills learnt by the participants have been used to make the report of the course, and also be used in future activities and projects. Besides this, there was the opportunities to visit local projects and see how the Luxembourg youth work approaches the issues of migration.
I was one of the trainer and editor of the video report of the course.
