TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Markus Albrecht
The main aims and objectives were:
• to support the Youthpass process, especially for young people with fewer opportunities
• to build common understandings of non-formal learning processes; to discuss, reflect and exchange on Learning to Learn methods and different ways of recording learning
• to develop tools to support the learning process of future participants
• to set the bases for future common projects.
The 24 participants came from Austria, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Sweden and UK. Mark E. Taylor (France) and Markus Albrecht (Austria) were the two trainers who facilitated the seminar. The main working language was English and most of the other participant languages were also used depending on context.
The main contents were: exchanges on personal Youthpass process experience (as participants, facilitators, mentors), how to foster the learning process of the participants, different ways of approaching the concept of key competences and learning, reflections on how to adapt methods to support learning – with ukulele as metaphor - according to the needs of different target groups, situations, actions; planning future projects.
Methods: Group work, Discussions, Learning Buddies, Open Space, ... get into L2L in an unexpected way (Ukulele sessions).
