Aims & objectives

The subject was about the Romani Holocaust. The Romani Holocaust was the genocide of European Roma and Sinti people during World War II. Beginning in 1933, Nazi Germany systematically persecuted the European Roma, Sinti and other peoples pejoratively labeled 'Gypsy'.

42 young people from 6 countries (Greece, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Bulgaria, FYROM)

Outcomes of the activity

They attended workshops on screenwriting and creative writing, acting, learned to make their own films that will soon be uploaded to YouTube, talked about human rights, stereotypes and the International Roma Holocaust Day (August 2). The boys and girls shared stories, experiences, knowledge and fun.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Facilitator in creative writing and Drama workshop where they talked about human rights, stereotypes and International Roma Holocaust Remembrance Day (August 2).

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
