Training methods used & main activities

We used participatory methods, including Compass from the Council of Europe as a guiding resource. Additionally, we incorporated innovative non-formal education methods such as Lego Serious Play to foster engagement and creativity among participants.

Outcomes of the activity

The training enhanced participants' skills in crisis management and human rights advocacy, equipping them with tools to effectively support young people. Success was indicated by positive participant feedback, observed progress in facilitation skills, and the successful implementation of learned methods in their local contexts. Documentation of the training can be found on the DBYN website and in the reports produced by the European Youth Centre.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I co-designed the activity with the team, coached a group, and facilitated sessions on Lego Serious Play as a certified trainer. Additionally, I collaborated with the Educational Advisor from the Council of Europe to debrief and evaluate participants' learning progress throughout the training.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.

Testimonial of the reference person

I enjoyed working with Stefano. He is very professional, has a very good awareness of what is happening during the training course and within the group of participants, which gives him the opportunity to assess in real-time the participants' needs and as such modify his sessions in order for the participants to get the knowledge and know-how they need to secure the success and the outcomes of the activity.
He is also an asset to the team and helps go further.
