TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Cristina RIGMAN
Main objectives of the training were: # defining and understanding the main concepts of DEOR (dissemination and exploitation of results), # experiencing main tools and methods for planning and implementation of DEOR activities, # how can DEOR activities be used to better connect the organization with relevant stakeholders.
The group was made of 24 participants from 13 European countries, all implementing Erasmus+ funded projects, majority of them in the field of youth.
Among the training methods used I wand to highlight the creative city rally to identify DEOR tools and methods use to communicate the centenary anniversary of a historical event for Romania (the unification of the country). Participants were divided into teams and had the task to walk around the city and identify ways in which the event is communicated in the public space, ask citizens about the event and present a report in the course sessions about what they discovered.
Main outcomes of the training include improved understanding of the main DEOR terminology, tools & methods; updated understanding on how DEOR fits within the wider project management process; increased confidence in using DEOR to connect with relevant stakeholders in the community.
I was one of the two trainers for the training assignment, involved in designing the training program and delivering the training throughout the entire 4 days of the course. Reporting and processing evaluation forms has also been my task.
