TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Simona Navadonskyte
The OBJECTIVES of the mobility:
-Enhanced youth-led planetary citizenship and cooperation through meaningful collective actions and hands-on experiences.
-Enhanced usage of outdoor-based youth participation forms like a Camino.
-Enhanced usage of Nature-based practices for deeper (re)connecting (camping, ecotherapy, Nature wondering, discovering/recognizing the biodiversity around, and similar).
-Positive impact on youth's mental and physical health through routinely contact with non-human Nature.
The mobility gathered 30 people from Lithuania, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary.
Methods used: hiking, camping, Work that Reconnects methodology, Climate Fresk, eco-therapy and others.
The mobility strengthened participants’ capacity to engage young people in planetary citizenship through collective action, outdoor participation and hands-on experiences. They gained practical approaches such as the Camino and nature-based practices for fostering connection with Nature, while exploring how regular contact with the more-than-human world can support young people’s mental and physical well-being. The experience provided methods and lived experiences that participants could adapt and bring into their own youth work.

I was a full-time facilitator in a team of 2. Besides that, I developed the project itself and co-coordinated the international partnerships relevant to it.
