Aims & objectives

Reframe my attitude is a personal development program that provides opportunities for volunteers, young leaders or youth workers active in a Non-Governmental Organization* to understand where their behaviours are rooted, what needs they hide and how they are impacting their professional and personal life. The program provides self-coaching tools that the participants can use to unlock wider understandings of themselves and on the way they function. This allows them to transform their attitudes in a way that brings more successes and fulfilment in what they do and while interacting with people in different contexts.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

36 youth coming from Italy, Spain, Germany, Latvia, Portugal, Hungary, Greeece, Lithuania, Romania

Training methods used & main activities

the method is called “Synergy” and equips people with tools and techniques that increase their abilities to achieve personal and professional success while enjoying life. The key is the HOW: the practice of integrity, to strive for excellence and authenticity.
Within this frame, each trainer who implements a Basic Synergy develops the program with a specific personal approach combining it with other tools that can make them very different experiences one to another.

Outcomes of the activity

Reducing the aggressivity and the conflicts, learning to establish more harmonious and open relationships between colleagues and with the people.

Developing more cooperative attitudes and reducing unproductive competitiveness among colleagues. This can allow to plan and achieve results that benefit all the actors involved.

Increasing self-confidence and self-esteem, with a consequent improvement of the ability to deal with one's target group, even with people who have aggressive and antisocial behaviours

Creating open-mindedness towards different perspectives and different methodological approaches, improving the ability to learn, therefore the ability to keep up-to-date

Improving flexibility towards changes that brings greater adaptability in new situations and responsiveness to unexpected events

Developing resistance to tight work schedules, intense work shifts and demanding situations on the psychophysical level

Increasing attention, awareness and care towards oneself, towards one's own needs, one's dreams, thus reducing the risk of burnout

Developing pro-active attitudes and strengthening of determination

Developing more positive, proactive and problem-solving mindsets

Correcting victimising attitudes and taking responsibility for one's own reality
