Training young people to be able to understand the recruitment and selection process from start to finish including taking part in interviewing for candidates.
The young people were from a variety of different nationalities.
I used arts and crafts to help them think about person specification. I used a quiz to get them to think about and understand the processes involved. We did role play to set up the interview room and did mock interviews of candidates.
The young people understood the processes and went on to be involved in many interview panels for social workers, youth workers and senior managers.
I led the training, designed and wrote it and got all the resources needed.
