TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

THE GOAL OF THE TRAINING was to provide 24 participants who work on LGBTIAQ+ issues with knowledge and skills on Theatre of the Oppressed which they can use in their own communities.
The training was based mainly on gaining practical skills.
We learned through the experience of building a Forum performance together during the training. Apart from that, we explored other TO techniques and learn about historical and theoretical background of the method and its relation to human rights education.
Youth workers and LGBTIAQ+ activist from Czech Republic, Slovakia, United Kindgom, Croatia, Austria, Belgium, Slovenia, Greece, Bulgaria, Italy, Ireland and Spain, in age of 18-50 y.
Theatre of the Opressed, Learning space dynamics, Open space technology, group work, reflexion, ...
Part of the project was interphase, where participants trained their colleagues and working target group in TotO and most of the participants are using TotO now as another tool in their educational or activist work.
