Aims & objectives

This seminar was the occasion for ENYC member organisations to discuss about training needs, identify expertise among ENYC organisation and plan training courses in a mid-term view.

Objectives:
• To identify the training needs of each organisation,
• To pool expertise of each organisation in the training field,
• To define training priorities (themes, target groups, expected results),
• To define criteria on what is a trainer for ENYC pool of trainers,
• To exchange on how training can help to youth worker and young people empowerment,
• To plan youth worker training sessions, as well as trainings for trainers,
• To identify fundings sources.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

An international group of 22 participants from Bulgaria, Finland, Slovakia, Greece, Turkey, Czech Republic, Luxembourg and Slovenia.

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal educational tools were used including games, icebreakers, working groups, presentations, simulations, reflection, role games, etc.

Outcomes of the activity

Development of Trainer's criteria (minimum requirements), needs and topics for trainings for youth workers and action plan
Exploration of possible funding opportunities and resources

Designing, delivery and reporting of the seminar.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
