TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Clara Montalbano
OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING.
- Critically reflect on the role of the trainer as a civic actor, explore how personal engagement with civic and political issues can support youth participation and activism.
- Explore playful and improvisational methods.
- Create a space for self-directed learning and co-creation among trainers; * Experiment collective decision-making
The group of participant was composed by experienced trainers in the field of youth and Erasmus+ projects.
All the participants have previously participated to a Training of Trainers (SALTO E+ and ESC).
Participants were coming from 8 different countries.
The team was composed by 2 trainers.
This training course led us to create a new methodology:
A board game on trainers civic engagement to accompany the group through the creation and the experimentation of different activities, methods and tools.
To accompany the group in this process we've used different methods issued from sociocratic theories and practices, but also from horizontal learning and self-directed learning.
